It’s finally starting to warm up here in Blighty, just about, so I’m looking forward to shifting to my spring wardrobe which for me, is all about light, bright layers. I think that spring is one of the hardest times of the year to dress for, with the weather being so changeable, so I’ve put together a few outfits to answer that need. I have to say Zara has pulled out all of the stops for this S/S range, it’s pretty spectacular…
Dress | Cardigan | Jacket | Shoes (all Zara)
Jumper | Blouse | Skirt | Handbag (all Zara)
Tank Top | Coat | Trousers | Cardigan (all Zara)
Spring is finally starting to blossom here in good old Blighty so I’ve put together a few things that are getting me in the mood for the (slightly) warmer weather…
Sunglasses | Earrings | Blusher | Sandals | Handbag | Nail Varnish
When I was browsing the L K Bennett shoes, a heavenly past time I know, I came across these sweet little ballet flats that just scream spring to me…
I’d wear them with a white floaty tea dress with a matching fitted blazer for a beautiful spring day look.
Hello my lovelies,
I saw these heels from ASOS in Elle this weekend and fell in love with them instantly. They are perhaps slightly more jazzy than I usually go for but they just screamed summer to me and I struggled to resist.
Aren’t they just too pretty?
Here in old York we’ve been having some visits from little miss sunshine- hurrah! So it got me thinking about my holiday footwear. I used to be a flip flops kinda gal but in the last few years I’ve changed my tune and now favour the sandal. So I went on a little hunt for the perfect summer sandal and found this beautiful Zara pair…
I like how simplistic and chic they are- just right for wandering around markets in abroad!
I hope that you’re having a wonderful long weekend.

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Ted Baker to choose my 3 favourite pieces from their ss13 collection for their current competition. And it was darn difficult! There were so many beautiful pieces; after quite a bit of toing and froing for ages I finally settled on these little loviles….
Now this dress was my easiest choice- it’s so pretty and whimsical. I think that it is perfect for spring and is so easy to dress up, comme ça, or to dress down with a pair of flip flops.
I chose these because a nude heel is such a classic but a peep toe seems to make them just that little bit more summery.
Now usually orange isn’t my kind of colour but this little one may have converted me. I think that it’s the perfect summer accessory to add a pop of colour to any outfit and I think that it really helps to pull this outfit together.
This outfit reminds me slightly of something the DoC Kate Middleton may wear to Wimbledon this summer but for the rest of us I think that this outfit would be perfect for a summer wedding.
You can find the entire Ted Baker Spring/Summer collection here.
Have a wonderful long weekend!

Hello my lovelies!
Today the sun finally made an appearance! So it got me thinking about the perfect pair of shoes for this transitional weather that I know us here in good old blighty are experiencing. I think that these New Look shoes are the answer…
A wedge always seems summery to me but the design of these mean that they’re slightly more durable. Lovely.
These Broderie anglaise shorts from NO.21 (via Matches for £288.00) are simple, crisp and just terribly pretty. I think that they’ll look beautiful with a Breton striped t-shirt or a nude chiffon blouse…
Happy Easter my lovelies!
Hello my lovelies!
Les Néréides is one of the most beautiful jewellery lines and I think that their collections are particularly stunning for spring- and with this peculiar weather I can’t resist wishing that I could sport one of these gorgeous pieces to brighten up these dull days.
Multi-Flowers Bracelet €125,00 Bracelet Violeta €45,00 Earrings €85,00 Hoop Earrings €110,00 Rings €145,00 Necklace €140,00
Don’t you think that they are perfect to add that whimsical touch to a spring outfit?
Recently I’ve found myself dreaming of spring and all of the beautiful dresses that go along with that. So how could I resist this Oscar de la Renta Embroidered silk-organza dress (£5,270 via Net-a-Porter) for my end of the month splurge item. I think that every girl should have a charming tea dress and this one puts a big smile on my face!
It’s feminine, fresh and simply stunning.
