The Spring Edit

Hello darlings,

Spring is finally starting to blossom here in good old Blighty so I’ve put together a few things that are getting me in the mood for the (slightly) warmer weather…

Sunglasses | Earrings | Blusher | Sandals | Handbag | Nail Varnish

The Zara Edit

Some of my favourite new pieces from the forever stylish Zara…

Boucle blazer

I can never resist a blazer and I am definitely missing a white number in my wardrobe. I love just how classic this piece is- a must have for a little riviera chic.

Now granted sunglasses aren’t a necessity in Autumn, especially in good old Blighty, but I just love these! They’re so stylish and will bring a bit of elegance to any outfit, whatever time of year.

A must. Always.

High waisted jeans

I’ve very much been lusting over these recently. They’re so easy to wear and are just a little twist on a staple wardrobe piece.

Coat with fur collar

A dusty pink coat, with a fur collar, absolute perfection!

This necklace is just so stunning and yet it will go with so much. It could be classed up for an evening or worn with a white t-shirt and jeans for a more relaxed look.

Another charming jacket that I fell for. I imagine it’s just one of those things you’d find yourself constantly reaching for.

Mini City Bag

This is such a sweet little bag, perfect for everyday.

Silk Blouse

I love sheer blouses and this pink one is an absolute darling. I’d wear it with jeans and ballet flats for a day look or with a midi skirt and heels for an evening look.

Smythson Christmas Wishlist

Hello darlings,

I was contacted by Smythson about a little competition that they are holding to win one of their stunning bags in which all I had to do was choose which of their products I would love to wake up to under my tree. This of course was not a difficult task with all of their gorgeous products…

Bag | Notebook | Jewellery Pouch | iPad Case | Jewellery Box | Pen | Purse | iPhone Case | Washbag

1. Maxi Tote

Blimey if I found this little beauty under the Christmas tree I would be one happy bunny. I love that it’s everyday chic.

2. Notebook

I feel like this gorgeous notebook will help me channel my inner Blair Waldorf and help me conquer the Upper East Side- a girl can dream anyway!

3. Jewellery Pouch

I am very taken by this cute, little jewellery pouch. To me it’s one of those extra special pieces that will remind you of the moment you got it forever and ever.

4. iPad Case

My current iPad case is getting a little shabby around the edges so I would very much welcome this heavenly one come Christmas morn.

5. Jewellery Box

I think that this is a classic piece that every girl should get at some point- it’ll last a life time!

6. Pen

If there’s one thing in life that I love it’s stationary and this pretty little pen sends my heart a flutter.

7. Purse

This purse is such a lovely colour and classic shape that I would consider myself a very lucky girl if I were to receive it from Santa.

8. iPhone Case

I love the colour of this case, it’ll add some individuality to a phone without it looking cheap and gimmicky.

9. Washbag

You can never go wrong with a washbag and there would be no arguments from me if I unwrapped this stunner on Christmas morning.

Which of their products would fill you with Christmas joy?

Friday Favourites #2

Hello darlings,

Here are a few things that have been pushing all the right buttons for me this week…

Dress (H&M) | Cadbury Wishes (Tesco) | Headband (Accessorize) | Perfume (Lancôme) | Handbag (Mulberry) | Skirt (Matalan)

I realise very few people have ever clubbed a Mulberry handbag and some Cadbury’s chocolate together but they are my new truly delicious find, thanks to my Oma, and they support the Make a Wish Foundation which is such a wonderful, wonderful cause.

Avenue 32 Autumn Wishlist*

Hello my lovelies!

Recently Avenue 32 approached me about creating an autumn wishlist featuring one of their wonderful designers and, well, with my love for all things autumnal I very happily took a look to see whether there was anything that caught my eye. And low and behold I found some incredibly beautiful pieces from Carven that I instantly fell in love with…

Carven at Avenue 32

– Firstly I chose this jacket because it’s so wonderfully classic; I think that it would look stunning in the evening over a brightly coloured dress or with a big snood and jeans for a more relaxed day look.

– I adore this little skirt! I couldn’t help but fall for the, very in vouge, colour and think that it would look lovely with a pair of grey knitted tights, a cream blouse and a grey jumper- pretty, pretty, pretty!

– Now, I realise that this dress isn’t perhaps totally ‘practical’ for the up and coming months but hey I’ll happily just look at it for the next 6 months until it’s a little more wearable; it’s just so stunning!

– I think that this dress is wonderful because, unlike my previous choice, it will last the whole year- whether it’s with tights and a thick cardigan for autumn/winter or with dolly shoes and bright, chunky jewellery for spring/summer- it’s a true investment piece!

– This coat. What to say? I think that it is the most darling thing I’ve seen in a while. I can’t imagine feeling anything but beautiful wearing this.

– My last choice is this gorgeous jumper that I think would look just right with jeans and tan ankle boots or a pencil skirt, a pair of tights and a pair of courts for two very different day looks.

The Perfect Match

Here in England there is definitely an air of excitement all about the beautiful new Prince George of Cambridge! I have watched so much rolling news the past two days it’s ridiculous! So to occupy my time, whilst we had such little news from inside the hospital, I spent my time looking on Matches. Bad idea as I was left with quite the wishlist…

This dress for starters is not my usual look but I really like the colour and the contrast of the stripes on the sides is lovely. So I thought that I’d push the boat out, just a touch, and give it a go.

I have to admit since getting Netflix I have been watching a lot of Gossip Girl again which has revitalised my love for Blair. Consequently when I saw this coat I couldn’t help but think of her and fall, at the same time, a little in love with it. Although with what weather this is suitable for I do not know but here in England we have some very peculiar weather so you never know!

I think that this top is so wonderful because when teamed with just a black pencil skirt and pointed black heels it instantly creates a terribly classy look!

I think that this skirt is beautiful for the summer especially with a chiffon t-shirt, heels and clutch for a summer wedding.

Classic, classy and terribly chic; they are simply beautiful!

Just a charming pair of heels– I was never going to be able to resist!

Normally when buying sunglasses I’ll stick to tortoise shell but these are so lovely that they may have tempted me into venturing into the world of a coloured frame.

This one reminded me of the swimsuit Amanda Seyfried wore in the film Mamma Mia, so along with the fact that it really is a stunningly designed swimsuit, it really puts a smile on my face.

I have never really ventured into the world of coloured trousers but with the classic shape, beautiful cut and amazing colour of these what could go wrong?

I’ve always been a cardigan girl, almost always picking one over a jumper. This one looked the perfect mixture of cosy and fashionable- pretty and practical!

I may have a plethora of blazers but a white little number is sorely missing from my collection; this one is super stylish and will look absolutley fabulous with a fitted dress and heels or a camisole, pair of shorts and some ballet flats for two different summer evening looks.

I wear very little jewellery, especially at the moment, but I do love a pair of statement earrings and well they don’t get much better than these– they’re quite the pair!

Lace, floral, perfect with a pair of nude heels = one perfectly ladylike dress

I thought that this top would look very sweet with jeans and ballet flats during the day or with a high waisted skirt and heels for an evening look.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I have a soft spot for blue lace so combined with the beautiful shape of this skirt I couldn’t help but fall just a little bit in love.

I adore this dress even if the fabric is a little ‘grandma’s curtains’ – I do love a bit of granny chic!

H&M Wishlist

Hello my lovelies! I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. I’ve spent mine so far with a pile of magazines, Netfilx (to which I am addicted, send help!) and the H&M website, which is dangerous. So having restrained myself from buying anything, I’ve put together my H&M wishlist…

I chose this headband because it’s such a beautiful colour and pretty bead work. I think it’ll look sweet with a LBD or a white blouse, nude ballet flats and jeans.

I love the simplicity of this top– perfect for day or night.

This is a summer one dress wonder; it can be worn with flip flops down to the beach, black courts and a fascinator at the races or with wedges for a warm summer evening at the pub.

This blouse is a little twist on a classic, nothing too risky but enough to make it interesting.

I love this dress. I don’t know where I’d wear it, when I’d wear it or even the shoes that I’d wear it with, but I love it all the same.

Just really sweet, basic heels that any girl could wear.

Now this cardigan isn’t quite a summer piece yet if you ask anyone who knows me they will tell you that I think preparation is key and well I fell just that little bit in love!

I am always a fan of a 50s dress but this dress has a little edge to it making it only more memorable and desirable.

I had never really delved into the world cosmetics at H&M so I was surprised at the diversity of their range. But I really fell in love with this nail varnish, I think that it is exactly right for spring/summer.

I’ve been looking for a pair of wide leg trousers and I originally went to Zara but came across these little lovelies today. I can just imagine wearing them on a stroll by the sea in the evening sun.
